Passport
to Wealth...
"Can
Selling Ebooks Be Your Passport To Wealth?"
Passport To Wealth was founded by Darren
Gaudry in 2006 and had some pretty explosive success out of the gate.
But, Passport began to fizzle out in late 2007 as Guadry ventured into
yet another business leaving the members at Passport To Wealth High and
Dry.
Gaudry is again at the wheel, but his
ability to flip flop between businesses is not too comforting. If he
brings Passport To Wealth back up again, is he going to leave to start
another company when he gets bored. Your guess is as good as mine.
Passport To Wealth will be getting a new look and is being touted as
Passport To Wealth 2.0, only time will tell what the 2.0 version will
hold in store for us.
So What Is Passport To
Wealth?
Passport To Wealth is a online opportunity
that focuses on delivering a variety of ebooks which can be sold either
as packages or individually in the resale market. The real money with
Passport To Wealth is signing other distributors under you for a $997
investment.

and expected to double in 2009 |
In addition to the $997 start up fee you
have to pay a $49.00 monthly fee to the company and additional fee to
their personal business assistants. The personal business assistant is
someone who will close the sale for you by returning phone calls and
answering questions. Personally I'd rather talk to and close the deal
myself, than pay someone else to do it. But, It certainly is nice
especially when you are just starting out and might be a little
hesitant to get on the phone.
There are more than a few online business
using this assistant type system and I believe it is a huge bonus to
have it in place. It allows your business to function ever when you
can't be there. Go on vacation and there is still someone there to
close business for you. I do give the Business assistants a big thumbs
up.
Passport To Wealth claims to have a library
of over $75,000 worth of ebooks, software and digital products and you
can take a tour through their back office to take a look at what they
have to offer. Of course you can't download and read them, but you can
get a pretty good Idea of the variety from the covers.
How
You Get Paid
First you could market and sell anyone of
the digital products in bundles or individually, but most just sell the
opportunity. Passport offers what is called a Australian 2up plan,
which means you hand up your fist two sales to your sponsor. That hurts
for the new business owenr who just gets their first sale after putting
in a few hard weeks of learning internet marketing. It may take you
60-90 days to get your first 2 sales, between your initial investment,
advertising costs and monthly fees, it would be nice to see some type
of return on your invetment.
I have been a member of Passport To Wealth
and would not recommend it. Especially, with that 2up system. After you
get your first two sales, there is no incentive for the person above
you to continue to train and mentor you. You are now their direct
competition. I was left completely out in the cold by my sponsor.
Thankfully I had the training and education to persevere but I feel
quite bad for those who don't.
Don't get me wrong, this is not everyone in
the Passport To Wealth Company, lets face it, there are greedy folks in
every industry. The company is legitimate and is by no means a scam and
I know that there are people who have done quite well, but I am not a
fan of PPTW.
With any of these home businesses,
be it
Passport To Wealth or any of the others listed in this review site,
find something you believe in and someone who will honestly mentor you
and show you how to grow your business. An honest educated mentor will
do wonders for your business and cut you learning curve in half.
