Quixtar Review..

"Is The Old Amway A Hot New Business Opportunity?"

Quixtar was founded in 1999 by the former owners of Amway which was established back in the 1950's. Growing up, Amway was a household name, which brings back memories of people trying to make it big selling bars of soap and garages full of products they couldn't get rid of.

Amway was the pioneer of Multi Level marketing to which the host of businesses offering residual income opportunities owe a debt of gratitude. In an effort to harness the power of e-commerce Amway transitioned to Quixtar and offers a huge array of products from health and beauty to jewelry and every day household items.

Quixtar has remained true to it's marketing roots with a little technology thrown in for good measure. Entice your friends and family to purchase products from you which they can do right through your web site.

To be fair, many of the products are items most of us use everyday and the purchase price isn't much different from what you'll get in a retail store except you can order from the comfort of your home.

Now to grow your business, you'll need to find some of your friends and family who are interested in starting a business. You get paid on volume and commissions on the work of your downline.

Volume commissions are pretty standard in the MLM world, where the problem lies is that Quixtar IBO's (independent business owners) get roped into buying product themselves to make their volume requirements and before they know it have a closet or garage full of stuff they hope to use or sell.

What Does It Cost?

The initial fee is about $60.00 unless you opt to add on the Product Intro Pack for another $78.00.

Next you are encouraged to join the "System" which costs about $20.00 per month for your website to register customers and new IBO's.

Last is the personal development program which is at least $15.00 per month for a few business building tapes, you can add on a few more bucks for seminars and meetings. The personal development program is not mandatory but recommended.

Honestly, you shouldn't join any home business without a direct mentor who is willing to spend time and show you the ropes. Lets face it your sponsor will reap the rewards of your success, so they should do everything to help you succeed, not take your money.

In conclusion, Quixstar, Amway has been around a LONG time and is not going anywhere soon, so you don't have to worry about them closing up shop tomorrow. But, It is not a business I would recommend if you are Serious about earning a living from home.
